My Second Year of Community College

This year of college was a struggle for me. During Fall semester, I was on a medication that negatively affected me. It caused mood swings, made me constantly cry and have little to no motivation to do anything. It had a big impact on my Fall semester and resulted in me failing one of my favorite subjects, getting a low grade in a class where I could have easily gotten a B+, if I put in the time and effort, and dropped my GPA from a 3.7 to a 3.11. However, I got off the medication for my Spring semester, passed all of my classes and got my GPA back up to a 3.35. Here are the grades that I received for my second year of college:

  • Financial Accounting- F *Retaking Fall Semester of 2020
  • Business Law 2- A
  • Principles of Economics (Macro)- B
  • Elementary Statistics- C
  • Learning to Meditate- A
  • Cultural Anthropology- A
  • American History 1- A
  • Principles of Marketing- A
  • The Solar System- B+
  • Public Speaking- A
  • Introduction to biology (plants)- A-

Business School #3: What’s Been Going On

It has been a long time since I have last updated you all on what has been going on with business school. I just finished my second year of studying business administration at a local community college. However, since I did not have enough credits to graduate this Spring semester, I am continuing to attend that community college for an extra year. On May 26th, I start my Summer classes and will be taking Public Speaking and Introduction to Biology-plants. For Fall semester, I will be taking Financial Accounting, Business Statistics and Data Analysis and Fundamental Concepts Calculus 1. Lastly, for Spring semester, I will be taking Managerial Accounting so I can graduate May of 2021 with my Associate’s in Business Administration. After I graduate from community college, I will be attending a 4-year so I can either receive my bachelor’s in business administration or my bachelor’s in accounting since I have not decided which one I would like to pursue yet. Throughout the rest of this year, I will be updating all of you on what I decide to pursue and the college application process.
